Tri-M Music Honor Society, other wise known as Modern Music
Masters, is a national music honor society run by the Music
Educators National Conference. It is open to high school
students (grades 9-12) who are enrolled in a yearlong music
class.

The two primary goals of Tri-M are:
- to recognize and develop outstanding music students
- to promote unity throughout the school music program
To be eligible, a student must have earned an overall grade
average of B- or higher in the previous academic year (or
former school for new students), as well as a music grade
average of B+ or higher.
