Cary Academy Chapter of
the National Art Honor Society
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Art Club/National Art Honor
Society is to enhance our visual environment and to
learn about the roles that art plays in our lives. The
club serves not only the school but the community as
well and is always looking for ways to improve our
environment. Cary Academy artists should be recognized
for their efforts in contributing to the community.
The purpose is to introduce students to new media
and to explore personal interests as well as prepare
students for careers in art.
MEMBERSHIP
Art Club Membership is open to any student whether
enrolled in art classes or not.
Students must have a 2.5 grade point average.
National Art Honor Society
Membership is open
to any student who has taken at least one trimester of
art.
