International Friendship Program (IFP) Club

The International Friendship Program (IFP), is affiliated with the program through NC State, coordinated by Elizabeth Rose.  The purpose of the IFP is to give international graduate students at NC State the opportunity to meet an American friend who is willing to spend some time with them and help them get acquainted with American culture and life.  Each person who is interested will fill out an application and is then matched with a graduate student.  When you are matched with a friend, you are expected to meet with them once a month and simply allow them to join you in something that is part of your every day life.  For example, you can take them out to eat, take them along to the grocery store with you, go to a museum, invite them to your house for a meal, go to the movies, etc.
