Computer Science.  (Students may drop or add trimester electives during

the first two weeks of each trimester with approval of their parent and

         Assistant).

Students will take home a course request form to discuss with their parents.  This form will need to be signed and returned by April 5.

April 2-5

Mrs. Akers will be in the MS April 2-5 at MS break to accept course request forms.

Early June (Hopefully, June 5)

Assembly (15 minutes) for Rising 9th grade students to receive 0708 US Course Schedules and textbook info.  The schedule will also be mailed home.

The schedule will include all required courses, the location and time of each class, the name of the teacher, and electives that were able to be scheduled.  A good faith effort will be made to enroll students in the elective courses they requested.  The ability to offer specific courses depends on student interest and scheduling conflicts.  Each year we have been able to meet over 98% of the course requests with close to 400 students, 50 teachers, 255 course sections, and seven periods in the day.  Please understand that not all course requests can be accommodated.
