End of Year Cleanup
Each summer we do an annual cleanup of the Student and Faculty file
servers. You have 400 mb of disk space on your U:
drives and 50 mb on your I:
drive. Since you will need this space when you return in the
Fall, please go through all the folders in these drives and delete any
files that you do not need. Also, please go through the
following drives and remove any files that you created and
don't need.

Area (T: drive)
On July 1st, the IS staff
will delete files from the areas mentioned above unless your class
instructor or faculty advisor specifies otherwise. You will
have until July 1st to decide what you would like to do with the
files you have on the P:,
T:
&
U: drives.
If
you are returning in the Fall, the files on your I: drive will
remain so that your web pages will be active through the summer.
Even though we will not be deleting files
in your
I: drives, we strongly recommend that you remove
files
and images that you no longer need or did not use.
Projects
that you worked on and would like to keep can be moved to a CD or USB
drive.
CD drives may be
checked out of the US or MS IS offices. If you need help using this
hardware, please make an appointment with
the IS staff.
Graduating
seniors, students, faculty & staff who will not be returning in
the Fall:
- If you
have files, projects or web pages you wish to keep, please transfer
them to a CD or a USB drive.
After July 15th, these files will be deleted with no option to
recover them.

Your e-mail account will be deactivated after July 15th.
- If
you subscribe to a listserv, remember to unsubscribe or have the
mail forwarded to your new e-mail address.
