Meet the Information Services Staff
Dmitry
Manakhov, Director of Information Services, ext. 4663
The Director of Information Services provides
primary leadership, coordination, and oversight for the Cary
Academy’s Information Services Division. He is responsible
for planning, administration, training, operation, and
resource support. He also works with the Instructional
Technology Director to guide faculty and students in
integration of technology and curriculum. He maintains
current technical knowledge of hardware and software systems
and evaluates their potential to contribute to the Academy’s
program.
Rick Harris,
Senior Information Services Consultant, ext. 4560
Rick Harris' primary responsibilities include
support for all mission critical administrative software
applications, helpdesk and acts as a primary resource and
mentor for the Information Services Consultants.
Kevin Rokuskie,
Senior Information Services Consultant, ext. 4650
Kevin Rokuskie's primary responsibilities include
support for all mission critical administrative software
applications, helpdesk and acts as a primary resource and
mentor for the Information Services Consultants.
Bob
Vinicombe, Webmaster,
ext. 4667
Primary responsibilities are to maintain the internal
and external web sites, support and develop web-based
applications, and serve as a consultant to students,
faculty, and staff for web-related projects.
Marita
Gonsalves, Database and Backup Administrator, ext. 4555
Marita Gonsalves’ primary support person responsible for
all the Blackbaud related issues and problems. She is
specialized in maintaining, administration and support of CA
databases. She is also in charge of making sure Cary Academy
data is backed up and safe
Eric Moore, Information Services Consultant, ext. 4508
Eric Moore’s primary
responsibilities are helpdesk, support for
non-administrative software applications, image creation,
event setup, faculty and staff technology training. Eric
also works with the Athletics Department developing
our strength and
conditioning program for our interscholastic athletes and
other interested students. Eric will continue to serve as
head coach of the CA wrestling team.
He also teaches a
class in digital photography and coaches the wrestling team.
Mike Roy, Information Services Consultant, ext. 4665
Mike Roy’s primary
responsibilities are helpdesk, specializing in hardware
management and support and maintaining
Cary Academy’s telephone system.
Kris Wetterling, Information Services
Purchasing Manager, ext. 4664
Kris Wetterling provides
administrative leadership and support to the Information
Services division, purchases software, hardware and
supplies, facilitates equipment and administration
conference room requests, maintains the hardware and
software inventories, edits the IS Newsletter, maintains the
Technology and Technology Committee web pages, coordinates
the technology for summer programs and special projects.
