Welcome to Cary Academy’s first online Annual Report — Unwrapping the 10^th Anniversary Year 2006-2007!  And what a memorable year-long celebration the CA community experienced!  It all began on opening day with the 10-year photo of all students, faculty and staff, moved into monthly activities such as the Charger Stampede, and culminated with the big celebration at Regency Park — it was a year to remember!

Thanks to the 10-year anniversary committee for all their hard work organizing and implementing all the community-wide activities, Sandra Gutierrez and her committee for the fabulous cookbook 1500 North Harrison Bistro, and an extra-special thanks is extended to our PTAA for purchasing the nine Charger horses along with the Boosters Club for the spectacular Rearing Horse that now enhance our campus. This huge project would have never been completed without Margo Smith leading the charge and coordinating all the students who worked hours and hours in the homes of CA families to decorate the horses in such a creative way.

Congratulations to the Cary Academy community and friends for another outstanding year of support! Your gifts continue to strengthen our school as do the countless hours of volunteering invested in the classroom, fund-raising activities, programs and enrichment.  An extra-special thanks goes to the chairs of our four major fund-raising events — our Cary Academy Fund annual campaign, Holiday Shoppe, PTAA auction, and Scholars’ Golf Classic. These events help us to continue investing in our students while providing valuable opportunities inside and outside the classroom.

This year Cary Academy made a conscious decision to maximize the use of technology and eliminate the bulk of paper used to produce this report. By going paperless we can help conserve a vital natural resource while keeping the same information at your fingertips.  This report lists individuals, corporations, and foundations that have made donations to Cary Academy during the 2006-2007 fiscal year (July 1, 2006-June 30, 2007). Your valued gifts enable us to continue the tradition of excellence started a decade ago. This report is a permanent record and thank you for your contributions!
