Welcome everyone to the last trimester of the 2007-2008 school year! PTAA still has many activities for the rest of the year including the Middle School Charger Cup (May 9), Fun Fest (April 11), the Spring Tailgate Event (April 18) and many more grade level activities just to name a few. As the year is winding down, the PTAA nominating committee has been formed and is looking for leadership for next year. We have many opportunities for parents to be involved in the organizational structure of the PTAA. Several officer positions and committee chair positions are open and offer exciting ways to be part of the "leadership" of the parent organization Cary Academy. Please keep an eye out for contact from some of the parents in your grade for opportunities in various areas of the PTAA. The PTAA relies mainly on email and phone communications to get out important information to our parents. 

Congratulations and many thanks to all the parents who worked so diligently to make our annual PTAA auction another huge success. Even with reduced attendance at the event, we still hit our budget numbers. My heartfelt thanks to Nikki Dunn (auction Chair), Celeste Lefort, Karin Nemetz and Liz Eubanks for taking the leadership roles for the auction and putting in the many hours. It was fun and rewarding and I enjoyed working with each of you.
