President's Letter
- Welcome to the Last Trimester of the 2008-2009 School Year!
PTAA still has many activities for the rest of the year
including the Middle School Charger Cup (May 9), Fun Fest (April
11), the Spring Tailgate Event (April 18) and many more grade
level activities just to name a few.....
Congratulations and many thanks to all the parents who
worked so diligently to make our annual PTAA auction another
huge success.
 The
11th Annual Scholars’ Golf Classic Is Coming! - Join us for
a day of fun, fellowship and golf. It's happening on May
12, 2008, 12:30 p.m., at the beautiful Prestonwood Country Club.
2nd Annual Kids Feeding Kids -Did
you know that more than 80,000 children in the Triangle qualify
for free and reduced lunch programs during the school year?
Cary Academy & the Food Shuttle believe that no child living in
the Triangle should go hungry. The CA
community will be collecting kid-friendly food for the Food
Shuttle’s BackPack Buddies program, Monday, March 31 – Friday,
April 4th.
Charger Bucks - Thinking of
doing some renovations this spring?
Order Charger Bucks beforehand and help earn easy money for the
school.

Video and Discussion for Parents on March 19, 2008, 7:00 pm –
8:30 pm in Fine Arts Room 004.
Join other CA parents to view the PBS special “Growing Up
Online.” Would you like to know more about Face Book, My
Space, and student blogs? This evening will provide you an
opportunity to step into the world of electronic communication
familiar to most of our teens.
