MEET THE NEW PTAA BOARD AND KEY DATES FOR 2008-2009 

It is my pleasure to introduce the incoming PTAA Board including the Officers. This year's nominating committee has done an excellent job in recruiting many fine parents to serve on the PTAA. Thanks to the nominating committee for all their hard work. The following parents were elected to serve as Officers on the PTAA Board:

The following are Key dates for the beginning of the 2008-2009 Academic Year at Cary Academy. 

August, 2008                      Middle School Fall Sports Practices Begin
All students are required to have a yearly physical to participate in sports.  The required sports physical form and other required school medical forms will be mailed to each family, and are available online at:  http://web1.caryacademy.org/health/health_forms.htm.
August, 2008                      Varsity and Junior Varsity Fall Sports Practices Begin
All new Upper School students should contact the CA Athletic Department before the end of the current academic year (last day of school on June 6, 2008) to discuss sports programs.  Middle School sports programs will be organized after the start of school.  All students are required to have a yearly physical to participate in sports. 
August, 2008                      Middle School Meet the Team Night
(Date to be determined.) Middle School parents will have the opportunity to meet the 6^th, 7^th, or 8^th grade teachers and learn more about grade level experiences and expectations.  (Letter of invitation will follow.)

It has been a very productive year for the PTAA and next year looks to be even greater. Please take the opportunity that PTAA offers you as a parent to get involved with our community.
