Welcome to the New Year of  2008.  One of the main goals this year of the PTAA leadership is to educate the Cary Academy community about the PTAA and what we do at CA and how our PTAA runs. We have loads of parent volunteers who work very hard to carry out our mission and goals of the PTAA but without our annual fundraiser the PTAA Benefit Auction we could not carry out our mission and goals. The PTAA has a budget that is funded every year from the prior year's auction proceeds ONLY. This year our budget is $125,550.00 which contains among lots of other things $25,500.00 in US and MS activities and $21,500.00 in student recognition grants and scholarships. All of the PTAA funds go back into the CA community and directly enhance our children's educational experience. This is a reduction from last year's budget of $19,750.00. Please see attached budget for all the programs that PTAA funds at Cary Academy. The Auction is the ONLY FUNDRAISER at Cary Academy that is sponsored by the PTAA and reflects in the budget.

Get ready for Spring Break and transport yourself to a vacation state of mind by joining us this year on February 23, 2008 for the 11th Annual PTAA Benefit Auction.

Join Annette, Frankie and all the other beach blanket bingo babes for a fun filled night meandering around those island themed auction tables filled with wave after wave of treasures, treats and maybe even a few fabulous vacation spots for your bidding pleasure.

We ask all families to consider donating a special item or service to help Cary Academy and the PTAA support their programs of excellence. We need both small items for the Silent Auction but are also looking for those unique, one of a kind, large ticket items for the Live Auction.
