Seventy-five Cary
Academy 7th-graders qualified, based on ERB results, to take
the SAT or ACT through the Duke Talent Identification
Program (TIP). Thirty-nine
of those students took advantage of this opportunity.
Twenty-two of the students who took the ACT or SAT scored
well enough to receive state or grand recognition—that’s 22%
of the 7th grade class!
Those students whose scores met the criteria for
State Level will receive recognition at a ceremony at
Campbell University on May 15th. Students whose scores met
the criteria for Grand Level will receive recognition at a
ceremony on Duke's Campus on May 21st.
