All 7th grade students and
advisors will be traveling to Black Mountain, North Carolina
for three days and two nights. We will be staying with the YMCA
Blue Ridge Assembly, an environmental education center.
Students will be participating in activities such as
adventure hiking, tower climbing
and Appalachian crafts. See the schedule leading up to
the trip below:

Tuesday,
May 13 - Student Hall Meeting to hand out
items to
bring list and announce
parent meeting.

Monday, May 19 - Student
Hall Meeting to discuss trip logistics, hand out
packets of
information and answer questions.

Tuesday, May 20 -
Parent Meeting to cover trip logistics and answer
any questions about the trip or the paperwork.
This meeting will be held at 3:10 pm in middle school
room 204.

Tuesday, May 20 -
Students will select three roommate choices while in
science class.

Friday, May 23 - All
required
trip forms must be handed in to advisor.

Wednesday, May 28 -
Depart from Cary Academy and travel to Black Mountain,
NC. Please arrive at 6:29 am.

Friday, May 30 - Return
to Cary Academy at 4:03 pm.
Students will
be bringing home packets of information about the trip.
