2006- Festival Year 1000

On Thursday, 10-5-2006 the 7th grade class at Cary Academy held their Festival Year 1000.  The Festival Year 1000 was initially conceived by Mr. Todd Shy as a culminating project in a history unit on world cultures during the "dark age".  This year Mr. Todd Shy and Mr. Tom Baker organized and helped to prepare the students for the Festival Year 1000.  The festival was a huge success as many "authentic" goods were sold, and the venders portrayed their characters true to the "dark age".  The 7th grade team wishes to thank all of the parents, teachers, students, and CA faculty members or administrators that attended the event.
