Orchestra Student Home Practice Software Set Up Instruction

Finale Performance Assessment Software Set Up:

1.         Download and install FPA from my e mail

2.         Have you microphone ($10 and call me) ready. You could use the one in your computer

3.         Follow the instructions to set up your mic’s volume

4.         Set the click off/on to on position

5.         Click solo line (the green light will on)

You will receive my e mail contained the homework or test file. Just open it and click the play. The FPA will play for you. Click and hold the green triangle in tempo box and drag it to left for slow tempo and right for fast.

During the practice if you put the mic near the instrument (the bridge) it will do assessment for you by just click the Assessment.

On the due date just click the record and send your recording via e mail to me.  

That is it. Very easy and cool.
