PSA Recycling Videos (Todd- Science 7)

This year the 7th grade science program continued its effort to support the recycling program that it started last year in the Cary Academy Middle School. As part of the curriculum, all 7th grade science students developed public service announcements (PSAs) regarding a recycling topic of their choice. Groups of students researched recycling topics, brainstormed ideas, developed storyboards, shot video, found images on the web, converted music files, created images, taped voice overs, and then edited the video components with Adobe Premiere. The PSAs in my classes (Todd) can be viewed below.
A very important thank you to Bridget Harron and Ned Hamilton for helping Eric Himburg and I coordinate this project. They also worked with the students by imparting their expertise to the PSAs in the multimedia studio.   Let the recycling continue!

Although each of the videos is excellent and very unique, a few of the PSAs were determined to be among the best in the group after my 75 student analyzed the videos. These videos are in red.  Students chose five of the eighteen PSAs to be the best overall pieces of work after reviewing them based upon the PSA rubric.  These are listed immediately below.
For all of the PSAs to be viewed you must have Windows Media Player  installed on your PC (most PCs have this installed), an Internet connection, and the VOLUME turned up on your PC.
