Installing Smart Music on your Tablet PC
If you have already purchased a subscription but Smart Music keeps prompting you to purchase another, call Smart Music tech support (866-240-4041) and ask to have your account re-set.
You will need:
Smart Music 10.2 Installation Files (this is a new version as of Spring 2008)
The email address you used to open your SmartMusic account
The password you created for your SmartMusic account
Your superuser name to install software on your tablet (for administrative privileges on your tablet)
Your superuser password (contact the IS helpdesk if you need this)
Downloading Smart Music 10.2 Installation Files
You may choose to download the installation files from Smart Music directly to your tablet, which takes a few hours. Or, when you are at school, you can copy the the small install files for PC from a folder Mr. Grush has set up on the P drive, which takes a few minutes but keeps your computer from doing anything else while you are copying. If you want the large install files, you will have to download them.
