Concert Resources

December is a great month to catch holiday concerts.  Check the links below.

Students - attend a concert in which someone plays your band instrument.
Write 1-2 sentences about what you heard and attach a program or ticket.  
MAKE SURE YOUR NAME IS ON THE PAPER.
Concerts without a program or ticket must be approved in advance.

Students are exempt from trimester 2 concert attendance if they:

• Take private lessons on their band instrument

• Play in the MS Jazz Band

• Play in the US drumline

• Audition for All-District Band (MS and US Band students) or All-Region Jazz Band (US Jazz students)

• Play with the Pep Band for 1 pep Band day (more details will follow soon on the Pep Band page)

07-08 T1 concert programs are due Wednesday, February 20 unless approved in advance for an extension. 

 Another  good place to look for concerts is the "What's Up" section
of the Friday News and Observer.
