Dear Cary Academy Family,

As if feeding us for two weeks after I left the hospital wasn't enough...

Eric and I were amazed and overwhelmed by the "little red wagon" that was left on our porch Sunday morning.  What a wonderful surprise!!!  All the thoughtful gifts will be put to good use for Katie.  The books, music and movies will be treasures for a lifetime.  We can't thank you enough for your kindness, support and generosity during these last few months.  It has certainly helped us ease back into the "real world" after seven weeks of ups and downs at Rex Hospital.

Our recent experiences have opened our eyes, not only to the miracle of life, but to the strength that can be gained by supportive friends in difficult times.  The power of your actions has been tremendous.  We will never take these things for granted, and we hope to be able to support any of you who may need it in the future.
