| I was born in Stanford, California but moved to western New York when I was very young. I grew up in a small town called Naples which is located about an hour south of Rochester. I went to Naples Central High School where along with my studies I played both baseball and basketball. From there I attend Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA where I received my degree in Chemistry. I moved to Chapel Hill, NC in July 2000 to begin earning my PhD in chemistry at UNC-Chapel Hill. During my five years there I met my wife, Ginger and began playing on a chemistry softball team which eventually became known as IaSG! I started teaching middle school science at Cary Academy in March 2006. | ||
