Instructions for Prospective Project Sponsors

The Review Board is pleased that you have chosen to sponsor a new project for our campus. We will review this application and provide you with a response after our next scheduled meeting. We provide this application to assist the sponsor in assembling important data and assist our committee in determining the merits of the project. During our review we must determine the following conditions are met by every project we approve. Please keep these considerations in mind as you complete the application and compile appropriate exhibits.

The scope and details of the project is well defined.
The improvements conform to the Campus Land Use Plan and Design Guidelines as prescribed by the Campus Open Space Committee and approved by the Board.
The project is mission-appropriate.
All academic program-driven requests must be supported by members of the academic community.¹
All other improvements or requests, must be supported by the Cary Academy community, e.g., the Grounds Committee, the sports program, clubs, parents, etc.¹
The project includes a sound financial plan for the installation and long-term maintenance of a project
