These minutes represent my understanding of the pertinent issues discussed.

1. The GC 10th year anniversary walkway recommendation was given to Lynn Fountain along with a cost estimate for removing the existing concrete walkway and adding the pavers for $4,600 this does not include engraving.

2. The Town of Cary approved the new plantings and the contractor was given the OK to purchase. Also, he was given instructions that if something was not readily available to delete it and if it comes available between now and completion we can deal with it. Otherwise, we don’t want to delay the project. Mulch was selected over the pine straw. Total mulch cost is $45,600 and total pine straw cost is $32,000.

3. The first estimate for the retaining wall at the north corner of the tennis courts came in at $10,500. Another estimate should be available soon.

4. The logo for the hill on the south side of the track was approved. The logo will be a large circle of blue rug junipers around the 10’letters “CA” using Dwarf Buford hollies. This will be an in-house project.

5. A recommendation for the placement of the 10 horses was presented to the 10 year anniversary committee. A representative from that committee will attend the next GC meeting to finalize where these horses will be placed.
