These minutes represent my understanding of the pertinent issues discussed.
 
1.  The 10th year anniversary walkway.  Reviewed Dennis Pitts drawings and the group picked # 2.  This will be the committee’s recommendation to Lynn Fountain.  
 
2.  A suggestion was made to tag the US south hill plantings.  We need an updated inventory and input from the Biology teachers as to how they want the plants tagged. 
 
3.  The tennis court bleachers:  I have asked the retaining wall contractor for the new fields to give me a completed quote.
 
4.  The recommendation to place a small retaining wall at the north corner of the tennis courts with a sign “Cary Academy Athletics Complex” and landscaping was approved.  Also, the committee recommends having a horse in this area would be a good location. 
 
5.  A logo for the hill on the south side of the track was discussed.  The recommendation was to have a large circle around the letters CA using blue rug junipers for color.
