• Long Range Plan

In Spring, 2004 Cary Academy completed work on its first Long Range Plan.  This plan was created from a three-day session conducted in February, 1999 by Susan Stone, a leading strategic planning consultant who has worked with many National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).  Members of this planning process included Board members and representatives of Cary Academy's major constituencies - parents, faculty, students, and staff.  The Plan was revised by the Long Range Planning Steering Committee on May 28, 1999 and presented to the Board of Directors on June 3, 1999. The Board of Directors unanimously approved Cary Academy's first Long Range Plan.

A number of committees were formed and charged with implementing the Long Range Plan. Much of  their progress was recorded on this web site.  To help community members follow our progress on completing the plan, we used red checks ( ) to indicate completed action items and () for an action item that was being addressed, but not yet completed.
