Dinner at the North Sea. Notice Xiao Jie. This was the traditional style dress that the women wore in the Qin Dynasty… take note that the heels are in the middle of the shoes!
 

Jenna and the little boy. First he was excited to hug her, then he was ecstatic to get his picture taken.
   

The two girls in this picture came up to us to practice there English. They had been taking English for six years and were ecstatic they got to practice it… and they were sooo cute.

The gate to the Forbidden City. There were three entrances; the middle entrance was for the Emperor, and the other two were for high-ranking officials. The Empress got a once in a lifetime chance to walk through the middle gate on her wedding day.

We look really happy and exuberant because we haven’t started yet.

Looks pretty daunting. We got to the tower beyond the farthest one in the picture.
   

Some of the group only made it to the third tower up.
