Boiling point: 2403 ºC

Uses: Used to paint glass to make a brilliant mirror and to wet porcelain.  Also used in doping semi-conductors and making semiconductors, quartz thermometers, and laser diodes to find tumors.

Found: Usually found as a trace element.  It can be found in diaspore, sphalerite, and throughout the crust of the earth from minerals like germanite, bauxite, and coal.

Density: 5.907g/cc @ 300K
