Francium (Fr) Atomic Mass: 223 Francium can be found, in very small amounts, in Uranium Ores. There is only about 25 grams on the earth at any giving time, due to its short half-life of 22 minutes (3). Francium is obtained from the radioactive decay of actinium (which is a radioactive decay of Uranium). There are no known uses for Francium, due to its scarcity.
