Aluminum is very light, yet it is strong. Aluminum is used in for
products that are easier to use being light,than heavy. Aluminum is also used when the
product must be somehwhat strong and durable. I have a bike that is made of aluminum, and
some other metals that make it slightly stronger. Aluminum is one of the most important
industrial metals. It is corrosion resistant, an excellent conductor of electricity and
heat reflective. Pure aluminum is soft and has low tensile strength. When aluminum is
usually made harder by alloying with copper zinc or magnesium,. Aluminum is one of the
most widely used metal, third only to iron and steel.

Kitchen utensils because the are not heavy, yet strong.
Cans and foils because of flexibility and strength.
Outside building decoration, such as lights, and gutters.
Industrial products where a strong, light, easily constructed material is needed.
