A First Hand Experience

The first time I tried Ketamine, I was at a rave in L.A. I actually didn’t know it was Ketamine. A friend of mine gave me a drink. Just a regular drink it seemed for a while. About 20 minutes later I found myself being taken to a different room. When I tried to let go, I fell. I got worried that maybe I’d been drugged, which I was of course, but more afraid I was about to be raped, I tried to get up, but my legs didn’t work. I calmed down a bit after I saw my friend there. She said not to worry, and so I started to relax, let her take me to another room where the music wasn’t so loud. It was a relief, the music was pounding really hard. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the feeling, but I wanted something different. I was lying down on a mattress in the down room at the party, my entire body was numb, really it felt like my soul was separated from the rest of my body, again, It was a wonderful feeling. I felt really close to all the people in the room, almost too close now that I recollect, especially to the guys, but I couldn’t concentrate on any one person for too long. Everyone, including me, was talking about things that bothered them. Everything came pouring out without censorship. I learned things about people I never thought I would, and complete strangers knew more about me and my private life than my parents, or my best friend. I didn’t learn I was in a K-hole (the name for a Ketamine high) until long after the rave. It’s an amazing feeling, but I decided to stay away from it as much as possible after doing some research.
