What Ketamine actually does is block the nerve paths without depressing your breathing, and circulatory systems.  

Like any other drug, Ketamine has it's incredibly cool trippy effects, as well as horrible, nasty, bad, death inducing events.

When one is on Ketamine, they get the feeling that the mind is outside the body.  You may see some trippy dancing bears as well, because ketamine causes hallucinations. Because ketamine is an anesthetic, it causes the user to feel no pain.  Ketamine is used a lot at raves, because it makes the music and lights seem distorted, and very cool. Some users claim to experience  synaesthesis  which is a long, smart term for seeing sounds and hearing colors.  and of course, as with many drugs, the reason drugs are such a problem in society, a feeling of euphoria.

The Horrible nasty bad death inducing effects

With all drugs there are the good and bad effects,  here are the following reasons you shouldn’t just run out and try Ketamine because your hoping for that near death experience.  If your using my web page to decide whether to try it or not.. take this part with more heart then you would the first part. I wouldn't want to be responsible for your death.

Ketamine has been known to impair motor skills, simple things like walking, pushing a button, or even opening a door can seem impossible, obviously you don’t want to drive, or handle dangerous materials while under the influence, because Ketamine is, of course, an anesthetic.  it would be like trying to drive while you were having surgery.  These are the minor things as well, when taken in large doses there is the possibility of blacking out, and of course death.  Ketamine has been known to be psychologically addictive, more so than E (ecstasy) or Marijuana, but not as much as Heroin or Cocaine.  Ketamine also leads to amnesia.  basically, the ketamine trip is like sleeping, (not that it's supposed to be boring, but that your incredibly mellow and relaxed), so you don't get sleepy.  Ketamine has also led to fatal respiratory problems. Especially when smoked, because anything black and ashy being absorbed into you lungs is bad for them.  Ketamine also gives people a higher feeling of sensuality.  It is often used as a date rape drug.  Be warned that people do things they would normally not do when in a k-hole. 

Remember.. as with all drugs,  the effects may be nice for a while, but there’s really no point in the enjoyment if you’re going to be dead.
