History: Past jobs

  ~ Way back in 1840 a German scientist by the name of Mr. Christian Friedrich Schonbein happen to discover the wonderful compound further known as Ozone.

~ A few years later in 1903-1906 Ozone was installed in drinking water treatment plants in Europe.  Ozone was used to disinfect the water.  Around the same time, in the U.S. chlorine treatment was instituted.

~ In 1940 a hundred years after Ozone was discovered, it was installed at Whiting, Indiana for taste and odor controlling drinking water.

~ In 1960 ozone was first used as a coagulant and microflocculant.

~ In 1990's Ozone installations are incorporated in spas, hot tubs, and swimming pools, as a oxidizer in process water application.  Scientist confirmed Ozone to be effective in the destruction of odors.  Ozone can even stabilize mineral content and pH in process water.
