First of all, people who are allergic to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory drugs should not use Ibuprofen.
Signs of an allergy:

sudden drop in blood pressure
Side Effects of Ibuprofen:*

*Some less common side effects include: insomnia, heart palpitations, hair loss, depression, tiredness, visual disturbances, meningitis, sores in the mouth, sensitivity to sunlight, kidney problems, and liver problems.
Drugs to avoid while taking ibuprofen:
Coumadin (this blood thinner can increase the risk of a bleeding ulcer)
aspirin (may reduce ibuprofen's effectiveness)
Folex, Mexate, Rheumatrex (methotrexate can become more toxic when taken with ibuprofen)
Eskalith, Lithobid (lithium can become more toxic also)
Altace, Lotensin, Vasotec, Corgard, Inderal, Tenormin (blood pressure medicine's effectiveness is reduced)
Bumex, Dyazide, Lasix, Maxzide (diuretics are inhibited)
