The Risks of Cholesterol
If you ingest too much cholesterol it could be deadly. The liver synthesizes the most cholesterol into needed substances. The liver is regulated in the amount of cholesterol it synthesizes every day, now if you have too much cholesterol in your bloodstream, you liver cuts back on the amount it synthesizes. All the extra cholesterol then starts to accumulate on the interior walls of blood vessels. These deposits build up, hardens, and then you have the disease atherosclerosis. Some other problems that you may receive from having a high cholesterol are stokes, heart attacks, and coronary heart disease. So if you have a high cholesterol you might want to cut back on fatty and high cholesterol foods.
