CA WRESTLERS DOMINATE OPENER

 GREENSBORO – Chargers wrestlers traveled to the Triad Thursday afternoon to launch their new season with a tri-match against familiar rival Greensboro Day (GDS) and a well-conditioned out-of-conference squad from Atkins, a public school in Winston-Salem. This version of Coach Moore’s team features a large number of battle-tested veterans. The hope here is that a string of early victories will generate some buzz about the team on campus, perhaps enough to attract some younger athletes who want to be part of a championship program as it continues to build.
