CA wrestlers traveled over 100 miles for this match, but even further perhaps in their own minds and those of their toughest rivals. The Chargers took on two-time defending State Champion Forsyth Country Day on their own mat Tuesday. CA benefited from the Furies having two of their best out with minor injuries, but the champs were ripe for the taking. The contest was close all the way, and a different result in any single match would have changed the ultimate outcome. Despite the disappointment of a narrow loss and some after-the-fact “what-if’s,” the mood on the long ride home was upbeat. Our boys served notice on this night that they will be a force to be reckoned with at this year’s tournament. And, when it was all over both teams knew it. Get the full details here.
