Today, Saturday, January 5,
2008, the Cary Academy Chargers took to the mats again
after a long holiday break at the Douglas Byrd High
School's Dirty Byrd Classic in Fayetteville. The
wrestling Chargers took 6th for the day out of 10 teams
after a 5-team match contest. Despite having to go
without a couple of weights throughout the day, the team
was able to finally warm up and begin to put together
enough wins to go 2-3 at the tournament. The Chargers
ended up 2 matches short of fighting for a 1st or 2nd
place trophy. Team scores are below...
