As the score would suggest, tonight's match provided a lot of excitement as the Chargers try to take down former 1A/2A state champs from only a few years back. The four day old weekend matchup at the Douglas Byrd tournament in Fayetteville was still fresh in the minds of the wrestlers, knowing that the battle then was only a one match swing. The team came home that weekend knowing it had a chance to cap them off tonight if everyone executed properly. The matchups started with lots of high energy from the crowd and on the mat and ended that way. But, somewhere in between the Charger wrestlers came up just short of a few points to secure a big victory... but not without a hefty fight first. Click this link to get the details.
