Students participating on the Varsity Swim team as a swimmer or manager may earn a Varsity Letter.  To do so, the athlete must compete the entire season, including any post-season play (conference or state tournament participation).  Additionally, the athlete must demonstrate commitment to the team by attending practices and games regularly.  Ninety percent (90%) participation in practices and games (separate, not total) is the expected rate of attendance to be eligible for a letter.  Additionally, swimmers who may earn a Varsity Letter regularly contribute to the team’s score.

One Varsity letter will be issued during a student's high school career.  Varsity pins will be awarded following that initial letter.
