Take I-40 West to Durham Freeway (Highway 147). Take exit
14 onto Swift Avenue. Go over the railroad tracks, and the
road turns into Broad Street. Go through four lights. School
is on the left at the corner of Club Street and Broad.
To Whippowill Park (tennis):
Take I-40 West to the Durham Freeway. Take the
Durham Freeway to US 15-501/I-85 North. Take US
15-501/I-85 North to Guess Road exit. Head north approximately
one mile. Go straight through the intersection with Carver
Street (there is a traffic light). Guess Raod narrows to one
lane after Carver Street. Make right turn at Kirkwood Drive
(two blocks north of Carver). Follow brown signs to city
park (left on Britt, right on Rowemont).
