Coming off a 2-win, 7-loss season last year, the Chargers are looking
to improve their status in the TISAC Conference. This will not be an easy task,
as the TISAC features the State level teams Ravenscroft, Durham Academy, and
Cardinal Gibbons.

track and field team.
Head coach Conrad Hall and assistant coach Clare Adkin both seem very
excited about this season’s turnout.

They’re bigger and better. That’s right, they’re
the new and improved Cary Academy Girls Varsity basketball team! They
aren’t the same undeveloped talent they were last year; these girls can play
ball. Cary Academy started the season with a whole new line up.

What do we really focus on at Cary Academy, sports or
academics? The opinions seem to vary. One would think that teachers feel sports are a total waste of time, but many teachers are in favor of sports and
school spirit.
