I'm Maria May, a California-raised girl who adores the Dixie Chicks. My dream in life is to go to Stanford and then go live somewhere exotic live Guatamala. Most of the time I'm busy running around playing volleyball or soccer, yapping about some community service deal, or spazzing out about some big test or project. Deadlines just like to sneak up on me I guess. My favorite color's orange, and the word "goofy" makes me laugh. I'm NOT a state or DUKE fan, and not particularly fond of UNC either, although I love Carolina Blue. If there were two pieces of advice I wish someone had given me earlier, instead of letting me figure them out on my own, they'd be "There's no such thing as a NORMAL person, so don't bother trying" and "Think before you start talking!" (I'm still working on that one!!)
