Leeds
University, located in the capital of Yorkshire, the city of Leeds, is
famous for its shopping, entertainment, arts, and leisure throughout
northern England. Since
its founding, Leeds University has always had exceptionally strong
programs in the math and science departments.
Leeds’ strength in these fields, has allowed many of the
University’s undergraduate programs to be geared towards math and
science, although the school also has programs for those who want to
pursue careers in the arts. Many international students come yearly to Leeds University,
and students from the United States have attended Leeds University
since 1967. Aside from
the courses and programs at Leeds University, the national parks and
beautiful wildlife which surround campus have drawn many visitors to
Leeds. At Leeds, there are also many opportunities to pursue
athletic activities; in addition to the school’s large sports hall,
Leeds students have access to a climbing wall and a cardiovascular
room on the campus.
