This class is a practical application of technical
skills necessary to support various types of productions in
the theater, including chorus, orchestra, dance, theater,
assemblies and special events. Students learn fundamentals
of stage technology, process and safety. They focus upon
learning lighting instruments, color, programming and
operating lighting control; sound board operation and audio
design; projection on the big screen; video applications in
the theater; set construction; and stage management.
Students are also assigned positions in various productions
as running crew. May be repeated for credit.
